Best cycling deals UK

Shimano 105 R7000 11-speed rim brake groupset

Was £599.99, now £299.99 – save 50%

Shimano 105 is the go-to groupset for riders who want the key features of Dura-Ace and Ultegra, but at a more real-world price.

Since the pandemic caused a component drought, meaningful discounts on groupsets have been hard to come by. This is the cheapest 105 groupset we've seen in literally years. They'll go quickly, so don't hang about.

Continental GP5000 clincher tyre twin pack

Was £119.98, now £77.99 – save 35%

From the most popular cycling tyre dynasty of all time, Continental’s GP5000 is pretty much the ideal all-around tyre doing that tough task of perfectly mixing puncture protection, rolling resistance, grip and durability in a product that can genuinely be used 365 days a year. ProBikeKit is currently offering almost £50 off a twin pack of tyres, with 23 and 25mm options.

Note these are the clincher version, not their tubeless siblings.

Zipp 303 S Carbon Tubeless Disc Brake Wheelset

Was £1,031.00, Now £799.99 – Save 22%

These versatile wheels from fancy-pants brand Zipp are suitable for everything from road and cyclocross to gravel. With 45mm deep rims, they’re also extremely wide, a facet that allows them to accommodate tyres up to 50mm in width.

Using the latest hookless rim desisgn, they’re also relatively lightweight at a claimed 1,530g for the pair. Generally making products of bombproof quality, Zipp also offers a lifetime warranty.

Shimano 105 R7000 carbon road pedals

Was £124.99, Now £77.99 – save 38%

Many of the products you’ll find on this list are luxuries, but pedals are a necessity, and these are good pedals with a good saving.

We don’t need to sell the benefits of Shimano pedals, if you use SPL-SL then you know what you’re getting in terms of setup and feel, the only bit of info you might need is the 105s weigh a claimed 285g for a pair.

Garmin Vector 3 dual-sided power meter pedals

Was £789.99, Now £449.99 – save 43%

In our five-star review of the Garmin Vector 3, we described it as ‘one of the best power meters we’ve ever tested’. Since then Garmin has revamped its power meter range as Rally, compatible with Shimano cleats, but to benefit from the resulting discount here all you’ll need to do is get used to Look Keo cleats.

That’s a massive £340 saving because of a rebrand, not because the technology is out of date. Dream.

Rondo HVRT CF1 Disc road bike

Was £5,499, Now £3,575 – (save 35%)

£2,000 off a capable aero bike is a good deal but it’s only available in size medium meaning there are probably only a few left, so be quick.

When we reviewed the Rondo HVRT Zero back in 2019 it got a big five stars. The HVRT CF1 is one tier down, so has most of the best things of that bike too including variable geometry via the fork to change the handling characteristics to suit you.

It’ll also fit tyres as wide as 650×47mm, so could be your gravel bike too.

Vitus ZX-1 EVO CR eTap AXS road bike

Was £3,899.99, Now £2,534.99 – save 35%

Yes it’s a bike that is not only in stock but at a reduced price. Madness. Vitus’s carbon fibre racing bike, built with SRAM’s Rival eTap AXS wireless groupset, is an attractive option at its RRP, so with over a grand knocked off, it’s at least food for thought.

It’s not just electronic shifting either, it’s a proper modern road bike with integrated cables, disc brakes and tubeless-ready tyres. And it’s the 2022 model.
